'Slumdog Millionaire' bagged 7 BAFTA Awards & 5 Critics' Choice Awards

'Slumdog Millionaire' , a rags-to-riches story, directed by British director Danny Boyle has bagged 7 British Film Academy Awards(Bafta) 2009. The film won seven trophies, including those for best film, best director(Danny Boyle) ,best original music score(A.R.Rahman),cinematography(Anthony Dod Mantle), editing(Chris Dickens), sound editing(Resul Pookutty, Glenn Freementle, Richard Pryke, Tom Sayers & Ian Tapp)and adapted screenplay(Simon Beaufoy).

The film had earlier hogged the limelight at Critics' Choice Awards in California, winning five prizes, including best film, best director and best composer.
