THREE IDIOTS - Aamir Khan's next movie based on Chetan Bhagat's bestseller Five Point Someone

Three Idiots is the next movie of Aamir Khan which can be released this month. This movie, directed by Rajkumar Hirani will be based on Chetan Bhagat's bestseller novel Five Point Someone. It's story will be all about three engineering students whose role will be played by Aamir Khan as Ryan, Sarman Joshi as Alok & R. Madhavan as Hari , supported by Kareena Kapoor as Neha Kurien and Boman Irani as Professor Kurien. It will be much appreciated by the student community & let's see how it performs after it's release in 2009. The audience will expect very much as done by Aamir Khan's last movie Ghajini, which was a superhit last year.

'Slumdog Millionaire' bagged 7 BAFTA Awards & 5 Critics' Choice Awards

'Slumdog Millionaire' , a rags-to-riches story, directed by British director Danny Boyle has bagged 7 British Film Academy Awards(Bafta) 2009. The film won seven trophies, including those for best film, best director(Danny Boyle) ,best original music score(A.R.Rahman),cinematography(Anthony Dod Mantle), editing(Chris Dickens), sound editing(Resul Pookutty, Glenn Freementle, Richard Pryke, Tom Sayers & Ian Tapp)and adapted screenplay(Simon Beaufoy).

The film had earlier hogged the limelight at Critics' Choice Awards in California, winning five prizes, including best film, best director and best composer.

SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE MADE IT TO OSCAR NOMINATIONS

Slum Dog Millionaire , directed by British director Danny Boyle , after winning 4 Golden Globe awards at 66th Golden Globe Awards Ceremony held on January 11, 2009, Los Angeles , has now been nominated in 10 categories for the most prestigious Oscar awards .

In Oscar nominations, Danny Boyle has been nominated for best director category & Indian veteran music director A.R. Rehman in best music director category. A.R. Rhman has also won the best music director's award at Golden Globe awards. Now, let's see how many awards are going to be won by this movie out of the 10 nominations for Oscar awards.
This movie focussed on the slum life of Mumbai & is based on the novel Q and A which is written by Indian author & diplomat Vikas Swaroop who hails from Allahabad (U.P.) .
Director Danny Boyle has also won Director's Guild of America (DGA) award for this movie.
After this movie's huge success India is feeling very proud for both Vikas Swarup & A.R. Rehman whose every creation is a masterpiece. With this award A.R. Rehman has become the first Indian to win Golden Globe Award for best original music score.
